RankReady ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered resume building and career preparation platform that helps candidates create standout resumes, improve their skills, and prepare for interviews. Our web application is available at rankready4u.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Name and email address when you register an account
• Resume content (PDF text) that you upload for AI analysis and optimization
• Subscription and payment status (we do not store card details — payments are handled by Razorpay)
• Usage data such as features used and knowledge tests taken within RankReady

We do not collect passwords in plain text, financial information, health data, or any sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To analyse and score your resume using AI
• To generate resume improvement suggestions and optimized content
• To generate knowledge tests and interview preparation material tailored to your skills
• To manage your account and subscription
• To communicate important updates about the service

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Razorpay — for processing subscription payments (governed by Razorpay's privacy policy)
• RankReady AI — resume text is processed to generate AI suggestions; no personal identifiers are shared with third parties
• Railway / Vercel — infrastructure providers that host our backend and frontend; they do not access your data

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@rankready4u.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Uploaded resume files are stored on our servers and can be deleted from your profile at any time.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored securely and are never exposed to third-party scripts. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data from unauthorised access.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

8. Cookies

RankReady does not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage to store your authentication token on the web app. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are used.
